I sometimes find it hard to keep things tidy and clean during the busy week. I read somewhere once to set a timer for 15 minutes a day and get the basics out of the way. Sometimes, I set it for 30 and tidy up and tackle one little nook that may be unorganized.
It seems much easier to find 15 minutes.
Re: My Favorite Cleaning Tip
I set the kitchen timer or do one of those online stopwatches, I like to race the clock to get sh*t done!
My tip is in the bathroom.
After showers are finished, the last person uses the floor towel and dries the walls, floors, and corners and faucet. I NEVER have to clean the shower and it is always spotless.
i will often set the timer for various amounts of time, often, i will get on a roll and not feel like i have to stop after the timer goes off.
if im working on a big job, i set it for 15 min less than i want to commit, then i give myself that 15 additional minutes to finish up. this works well for those cleaning and organizing jobs where it gets worse before it gets better. i wouldnt want to stop with everything all spread out on the floor or table.
thats a good one, we just use a squeegie on the walls, its a must because we have heavy iron bacteria water and it stains the walls yellowy orange if we dont. but also, i havent needed to clean in over 3 months since we moved in.
