  • It's the week before finals for me and DH doesn't cook, so that means that our meals either come from the can or the freezer this week! I did make turkey sloppy joes on Saturday and will make chicken enchiladas on Wednesday. We're moving in about 2.5 weeks so we're trying to eat up what's already in the cabinets. Also, we're trying to get one last visit to all our favorite restaurants in Indianapolis/ use up our groupons (and we have many) so we'll be doing an uncharacteristic amount of eating out over the next two weeks.

  • We have been slacking on meal planning so bad! We need to go grocery shopping so that doesn't help. We have food in our cupboards, but it's mac & cheese, ramen, hamburger helper (blech) and the like. Random quick side dishes like powdered mashed potatoes... it's not pretty. That plus all the holiday goodies I baked over the weekend = not good dinner materials.

We picked up some steak tonight and had that tonight with some tortilla chips and guacamole. We got some french bread and goat cheese, so that will probably be part of our meal tomorrow. I might also mix up some dipping oil for the bread.

Pizza will probably happen at some point.

Also some salad with grilled chicken.

Other than that I don't know!

  • DANG! you girls are good planning a whole week ahead. I am still unsure what is for dinner tonight!

This was totally me for many years. Now I spend LESS time writing a grocery list and planning a menu then I did standing in front of the frige everynight. It also helps that I only work 4 days a week and enjoy cookingSmile
