Health&Fitness (oops i missed) Wednesday

i lost 0.5 lbs this week. yippee! I'm trying to stick to the new WW plan (they changed things a bit) and im finally starting to feel better from my nasty cold so hopefully i can breathe enough to hit the gym by the end of the week :)

  • I'm skipping my weight-in this week.  Even since my cycle started again after nursing, I get very bloated and I feel gross. I even did the mega tough exercise class last night and still feel blah. 

    Side note: I convinced one of my servers to join the gym! In the past 4 years, she's probably gained 40-50lbs. She's very self-conscious, and the gym intimidated her, but she finally caved and got a membership.  yay!

  • I lost 0.5 pounds this past week too. I've tried to be good about eating though I can always be better. Getting to the gym twice a week for sure....kickboxing and spin. Want to get there more but I just feel like we've been so busy. But I really enjoy both of those classes which makes me want to go every week!

     

    Dawn - nice job on getting your coworker to join the gym! That's a great first step for her.

  • My scale is not my friend.

    I've been up and down 3-4 pounds almost weekly! It's getting ridiculous. But it's my own fault. I get depressed, eat like crap, don't exercise...weight goes up.

    I get back on track the next week...weight comes down.

    More papers to write, more appointments for my son, working late, no time to exercise, eat like crap...weight goes up.

    And todays been hell already...what am I doing, drowning my sorrows in a bag of swedish fish. :(

    im learning the new system too - ordered some materials from their website so i can do it without paying for it each month lol (my subscription ends in a few days)

    Lauren- I wish my gym had kickboxing, I miss taking that. But I do love zumba so I never miss that!

    The class actually used to be Zumba. I got to try out one class before the teacher left for a 3 month leave. So instead, one of the trainers is doing kickboxing until the zumba instructor comes back. I really like the kickboxing...I'm definitely sore. But I feel like such a badass punching and kicking the pads! Smile
