We are having friends over tonight for drinks and cards. Tomorrow I get my haircut (ahh!) and then going to DH's work party in Lansing. Sunday we plan to do almsot nothing.
Mira-Why are you house-hunting in metro Detroit? Job relocation? Maybe it will be better than you are expecting.
What happened to Toledo?
I have a work party today and then we have another Christmas party tonight at DH's cousin's house.
For the rest of the weekend I don't have any plans, but I need to do some baking on Sunday, and I also need to work on Christmas cards.
I'm confused! Unless...your H plans on commuting maybe?
We are shuting down early (and not getting paid...bah humbug!) for our company Christmas party tonight. Should be a great time though.
Tomorrow we are hosting an ugly sweater party with all of our friends. I can't wait!
Sunday is cleaning, resting, relaxing, and maybe cross country skiing.
Yeah he plans to commute. The thing is, they plan to transfer him again in a "few years" to the metro Detroit area. I did not want to have to go through this moving thing again so soon. The plan is to buy where he will have about 1-1 1/2 commute 2-3 days week (other time he works from home) to the Toledo area now and no more then 30 min commute to the new office in a few years (which he would work in m-f).
Goodgollie, yeah H's job is transferring us.
What a pain! Good luck with house hunting and the mood.
Tonight I plan on doing some relaxing and hanging out with the baby. I need to finish up addressing xmas cards. The first round went out yesterday. Tomorrow if I can make myself, I want to go to Younkers for their door buster sale that starts at 6:00a.m. I need to get H his xmas present still, and then I'm pretty much done. Maybe a few little things for Violet since I have a gift card to Hopscotch to use up. Some relaxation is in order. We ran around all last weekend for my mom's surprise birthday party, and I need to catch up on stuff at home (like laundry and cleaning).
I'm just relaxing tonight.
Tomorrow we're having a 'demolition' party for my old firm. I'm not sure who thought of the them, but it's something like demolition and rebuild, and it has the old firm name, and the new firm name.
I think it'll be awkward. I"m not allowed to drink right now, which will make the party that much worse for me.
I'd skip it, but it's right by my house, and people would see my car home.
I want to paint my bedroom this weekend, but i'm also not sure what direction I want to go with it.
