I need to try to get to Costco today. Tomorrow I am meeting up with my cousin for a bit. Other than that we don't have any plans! I am so excited about this. I am hoping to finish up some small Christmas present shopping. I can wrap the mountain of presents I have at home too! What is everyone else doing?
Re: Happy Friday! Plans?
I always spend outrageous amounts of money at Costco. It's like a sickness.
I need to go to a local boutique for birthday presents. I have 3 Christmas baby friends and our Christmas baby moms to shop for!
We are getting our tree this weekend. DH was supposed to be gone from Sun-Fri but his trip got canceled (whoooo!)
Tomorrow I am getting a much needed haircut and then tomorrow night we have a small xmas party at a friend's house close by.
I feel like every weekend is so crazy up through New Year's!
Tonight is my company holiday party (kind of wish I didn't have to go).
Tomorrow I will need to run errands/shop for Xmas gifts during the day, then dinner for my mom's birthday in the evening.
Sunday night we have volleyball.
Punky, glad your DH is going to be home this weekend. I'm sure he's happy not to be away from you and N right now!
DH & I took today off... so we're painting the trim in the bedroom (who ever decided to paint our house in eggshell should be shot- it looks grimy). After that, we're getting the tree.
Dinner tonight with my family at the Palm for my parents anniversary.
Saturday- no plans!
Sunday- lunch with Dh's friend & then decorating the tree/ watching the game
Love my weekends. Every single one feels like a vacation these days.
This weekend we are finally going to start decorating for Christmas. I haven't really been feeling much holiday spirit yet and I think it's because there's nothing up here. We are hoping to go get our tree too. I can't wait! DH is going caroling but I'll probably stay home with Lil because I'm not sure we want her out in the cold for so long. Then we're going to try to visit a neighbors Christmas party for a bit.
I'm hoping to get started on wrapping too. The more I can get done early the happier I will be later.
I can't believe your DH was already supposed to be out of town. I can not imagine being home alone with such a small little one. Very excited for you that he'll be home and that you'll be able to get your tree.
How have your first few weeks of mommy-hood been treating you? I remember being really excited about my post baby haircut. It was nice to have a few moments to treat myself to something.
Happy Friday!
Right now: Working until 10:30
Saturday: DH has army drill. I'll be going to MIL's house with my S'sIL for an afternoon of baking! I'm going to be making Mexican Chocolate Crinkles. Then that night making Lemon Bars for the Army holiday party on Sunday. We're also planning on going to my friends birthday party in Quincy.
Sunday: Army holiday party! That'll be the majority of the afternoon. Then that night I'm visiting a popular blogger while she's in town. We'll be going to Espresso Royale.
Fun, busy weekend!
I know, he was OOT the Monday after I got home from the hospital. It was just one night though. The 2 weeks nonstop in January are going to kill me.
My haircut was okay...hairdresser is slow and talks nonstop and I was all stressed out about getting home in time to feed him- and I didn't make it so DH had to finger feed him what I had pumped this morning (just in case).
And we ended up missing the xmas party tonight because DH doesn't want to go. *sigh* I was really looking forward to dressing DS in his "Little Elf" outfit and showing him off.
