Well, she's back at it again.
Our company party is today at lunch time. Her H said he probably wouldn't be back in time but didn't want to go. So she posts about it on FB today basically saying how the company is a bunch of assholes for planning the lunch while he wasn't here.
I commented that he said he didn't want to go anyway, and another coworker of mine who is also friends with her basically said the same thing. Then she comes back with "well he would have had to drive all night and not sleep but it is what it is. Its not my job but its how I feel about it."
And it just totally set me off. I said "Look, I get it. You hate his job. You hate the company and think all we do is fvck people over and everyone here is horrible. But seriously, be grateful he does have job. Not everyone does. You'd be a lot worse off without his paycheck, right? Not being a *** but you really gotta be careful about the sh*t you post online about companies. I don't know if your page is private or not, but if this got back to (corporate office) its a reason for him to get fired."
She hasn't said anything since, but I feel so much better just telling her to basically STFU! And venting it. But unfortunately this is a post & run because the owners here. Just needed to share!
Re: Remember that friend I wanted to tell to STFU?
You go girl! I would have loved to see the expression on her face when she read that post!
She needed a slap in the face to bring her back to reality!

After I logged off facebook, she texted me and basically said it was effed up that I was going to fire him. So I responded that I have no interest in getting him fired, but according to our handbook the corporate office has the ability to log into our computer and see our internet history as if they were standing behind us and whether they do it or not, I don't know, but I'm not trying to get him fired, I'm trying to warn her.
She never responded and its been about 3 hours so maybe she finally got the hint.
Either way, at least all of that crap was more than made up for with our holiday party which I just got home from.
