Update and a quick trip, T&P please!
Well folks, I haven't been around too much and I will explain why. First a BIG congrats to Ashlee & JJ!! I'm so happy for you to be expecting!
So, this update comes with a request for T&P. My Mom had her checkup with her cardiologist a few weeks ago and they ordered an angiogram. She had that done on Tuesday and found out that the stint they put in her artery when she had her heart attack 2 years ago is blocked again with scar tissue and she has two other blockages as well. So Monday morning she will be having triple bypass surgery. I've had the craziest week every trying to meet a deadline at work early so I can fly home for the surgery. I'm totally exhausted but I did it and I'll be flying to NOLA tomorrow afternoon and returning Tuesday night. Other than this my Mom is in good health so the doctors are very optimistic that all will go well, but open heart surgery is so scary! We're going to spend the weekend relaxing together at home with the family. I won't have too much internet access while home but I will try to check in and give an update after the surgery on Monday. Please say a quick prayer for her that the surgery goes smoothly and she will be able to be out of the hospital for Christmas! Thanks
