Weekend plans
So what's everybody got planned for the weekend?
Maybe it's because I'm really hungry, but I think I want to do a bunch of baking this weekend. I've never made multiple items in one stretch before. But I have a bunch of things I want to make -- rocky road candy, puppy chow, more of those yummy molasses cookies, brownies bites with peppermint chips, coconut joys, and sugar cookies. So maybe I'll play Betty Crocker this weekend and make a few items from that list and bring it into work to share.
More likely, I'll end up spending too much time watching Good Eats episodes to get any baking done. After all, my plan to make chicken paprikash last night was quickly abandoned in favor of a bag of popcorn for dinner and some TV watching.

Thanks to your last post about the molasses cookies, i made them last night and am currently enjoying one right now
Tonight, I am hoping to finish some Christmas decorating. Then tomorrow I will be baking Carmel Apple Cheesecake Pie, White Chocolate Peppermint fudge, and Orea truffles to bring to a friend's Xmas party later that night. Sun my SIL is coming over to do some crafty projects for the baby's room and decide on paint colors. It should fun, but probably exhausting!

We're going to get a tree and doing the Christmas decorating. I am super excited -- We can finally have a big tree, since we're not in a tiny apartment anymore.
We're also going to pick up our new-to-us couch and loveseat for the family room (hammidown from a friend whose parents just gave her a new set) and shop for upholstery fabric for our living room couch and chair.
We're picking up tree #2 on Sunday. Tonight we're having friends over for dinner. Tomorrow we're taking a friend out for his birthday, and my boss is having a party that I'm hoping to get out of.
Sunday afternoon I have a birthday party for a friend's baby. People need to stop giving birth in December. It's not like I don't have enough to do already!!
