Re: Children's Wonderland?
The City of Sylvania has purchased "Childrens Wonderland" it is no longer run by Lucas County and I am expecting it to maybe be better than it had been when it was at the Rec Center. Sylvania has a ton of business sponsoring it and it is at Tam O' Shanter.
We plan on going during the week sometime. Kids under 3 are free, well under 2 or 3, can't remember. Adults are $5.
I'm excited about it. My parents used to take us to the Rec Center as kids for it and we loved it, although like Punk said I don't think it was all that the last few years and Lucas County didn't even do it last year. Then Sylvania bought it and is running it now.
That article she posted says Erie Street Market.
Article from Toledo Free Press about the sale of it to City of Sylvania from June '10:

I recall Childrens Wonderland was at Erie Street Market last year, I think, or it was talked about but never happened. Either way, Sylvania did purchase it and it is def there. It has been advertised in the local paper for weeks now.
I just looked at the article she posted, it is from Dec. 09, it is from last year.
Ditto Jill. It is being held at Tamo this year.
My mom is taking B2 one day next week when she has him.
I was SO dissappointed year when it was at the Erie Street Market.
