Have any of you swapped out your rings?
DH doesn't love his ring. He says it feels somewhat bulky on his hand. He currently wear something similar to this:

In my posession, I currently have my fathers wedding band from his first marraige, a plain gold ring, thin. DH tried it on, and he said that it felt more comfortable.
So, my question is - has anyone swapped out their rings? Any thoughts on this?
Do you think I could purchase him one as a Christmas Present? Something similar to the one my dad use to wear, but only in white gold (H's preferance).
Re: Wedding Ring Question
I dont plan on changing mine... we splurged a little bit to find a great band to go with my e-ring because I wanted something that I would love for a long time and not want to "upgrade." However we did buy DH a new ring a couple months after the wedding. He kept complaining about his band being too big and one day he washed his hands and it went flying when he shook the water off. We were in the house so no big deal but I agreed it was too big. Since we had bought him a titanium band, it couldnt be resized. We bought him the same ring just a size smaller and he kept the other one in case he needs a bigger one someday.
We also agreed that maybe we'll upgrade his ring if he wants to someday but he didnt care much when we bought it and therefore we couldnt justify the $1600 difference in price between titanium and platinum (he doesnt like gold and mine are platinum so that was what we were choosing between).
For a comfort issue, I dont think it would be that big of a deal to buy a new one -- if it doesnt bother you for sentimental reasons it shouldnt bother anyone else.
