So what's closed/shut down for today?
We haven't and aren't planning on leaving the house but since this seems to be an epic snowfall and 'one to remember' I thought it would be cool to list everything that has shut down for the day. After all, this is Minnesota where no matter the weather we go on (except for today I guess!) 
- MSP shut all runways
- Someone on Facebook said the USPS canceled service for today (did they?)
- Albertville Outlet is closed for the day
- (again on Facebook) I saw Burnsville Mall is closed (?? not sure on that one)
- Someone in another post mentioned the city buses stopped running
So what else?

I heard someone while we were out say TCF (banks, I think) are closed, but I'm not sure if that was just one location or all of them.
The Olive Garden near our house is closed for the day.

A little more info.
Most of the theatres/concert halls downtown have cancelled their shows for today.
MSP is completely shut down.
The NY Giants' plane got diverted to Kansas City. If they can't make it in late tonight/early tomorrow, there won't be a football game. If they do make it, the game time might be delayed.
My Blog
most of rosedale is closed. But the apple store is still open. I'm going to be pissed the hubs can't make it home because his managers refused to see reason.
Macy's closed at 5, most of the rest of the mall closed before that.
MSP has a runway open again, according to the Strib, but I haven't heard a plane yet.
Hennepin County pulled its plows due to the fact that they'd been out 12 hours straight and it was shift change. They'll be back up to full strength by 2am they are saying. (Five plows are still out for the County.)

St Paul's are as well.
