EBF and AF already??

Seriously WTH?? I didn't get AF back until Grace was like 10 minth old last time but yesterday it showed up...yay me. Liam nursesso much at least every 2 hours during the day and then every 2 hours from midnight until he wakes for the day. I did not expect AF to return anytime soon. I am annoyed.

Did anyone else get it so soon while EBF?

Yep, I was EBF and literally to the day month 3 there she was and she came like clockwork until 6 months later when, well... clearly she's gone for a while again.

Sorry sucks. I was pretty upset that mine wanted to be back so soon too.

Due to supply issues, we've had to use formula since A was 5 days old. I do BF him before every feeding and all I make is an ounce every three hours. No signs of AF at all. I am confused as to why I haven't gotten it. It would make more sense for me to have it instead of you. I'm sorry, this stinks. Especially since you should be rewarded for feeding him every 2 hours by NOT getting AF for a very long time. Booo.

You should definitely be getting more of a break since you are feeding your little man so much... not fair at all!

That is all kinds of not fair! We're at 16 months and still no period (but I have the mirena too).

I EBFand pump as well. No signs of AF, but am afraid she'll come when I'm not prepared. I feel silly carrying around a pad for those "just in case" moments

That is all kinds of not fair! We're at 16 months and still no period (but I have the mirena too).

I'm quite sure you lack of a period is from the Mirena. I have one too and I have very minimal occasional spotting. (I stopped trying to breastfeed after the first week and I got my period back at 6 weeks post-partum. Yay me.)

You aren't the only one Kimberly! lol No fun but it was also very nice to be able to go back on the tried and true method for us, BCP, and KNOW we would not have an oops baby.
