I live in the city and have seen SO many cars get stuck in front of my house all day long. Now my DH is out there with about 15 neighbors literally shoveling the street curb to curb so people can move their cars to the other side for the snow emergency. And they're not even worrying about turning around, just get the cars to the other side!
Someone had to stay inside with the kids though, so I'm hanging out watching them drinking a glass of wine:)
Re: Crazy out there!
I stayed in with the baby while DH plowed the driveway:) It took him over 2 hours and he went and helped our poor neighbors who started before DH and were hand shoveling.
I ran to the store earlier today and I couldn't see more than 10 ft in front of and I couldn't tell where the curbs were. It was all white.

I am in the city too and had to laugh when I saw people on skis and snow shoes. Some were out for leisure while others had grocery bags with them
Neighbors were trying to get their cars off the streets last night around 10 with the help of a snowblower. . .
