Bathroom cabinet cleanup (wood related)
There is a cabinet in the bathroom at our new house, a medicine cabinet. It looks like it was handmade out of a wood. I love it, it's pretty, the design is nice... However, the wood smells really weird! Strong odor. I was thinking of painting it a dark brown or staining it, but any ideas how to get rid of the smell?

Did that. Spic and Span also.
I think it's the type of wood it was made with.
If you plan on painting it, then priming it first should absorb any smells.
