Why do I think this is wrong?

One of my HS friends and now FB friends owns a bakery, she has been posting all over FB for everyone to vote for her bakery in Best of Toledo for Toledo City Paper. She even sent up an event and sent that to all her FB friends so they'd vote for her bakery.
I get that she wants to be the Best in Toledo, can't blame her for that. But to tell people to vote for you is another thing. Kind of cheating in my honest opinion.
