What do you do with your holiday cards?

This time of the year, cards are pouring in, along with tons of other mail. People spend so much time addressing and writing their cards, I feel like I should display them somehow until Christmas/New Years is over, but I don't have a mantel- but you ladies are so creative. What do you do with your holiday cards?

You could put up string and make a little clothesline for your cards to hang on.

We have a doorway with an 8 inch trim on the inside. We always tape them up on the trip, I love it!

I have a wire wreath that has slits that you can stick the cards in. DH's grandfather made it for us.

I bought this from pier 1 for $10 and hung it on my kitchen wall. It's nice b/c you could use it all year round for other things you get in the mail like birth announcements, invitations, etc.

We've always taped them on the front door. IL's used the string (well curling ribbon) to make a clothesline idea (they'd hang it on the plain side of their kitchen island), and this year they're stapling them to ribbon they have hanging over the basement door in the kitchen (went the door route this year b/c the kids would be able to get them hanging on the island and our kids spend a ton of time over there).

I have 2 lengths of ribbon that I tack up hanging vertically on the wall, and I use clothes pins to attach the cards as they come in.

We have a big mirror in the dining room. I usually just kind of stick them around the mirror. Nothing fancy. I liked the idea of using a ribbon and stapling them from PP.

I have a wire 'wreath' that you can insert cards and photos in. I have it up all year round (it doesn't look Christmas-y), but there are Christmas-themed ones out there as well. It works esp. well with photo cards.

I have a friend who, once the holidays are over, cuts out the photos of kids / families and puts them in a scrapbook. You can see how the kids changed over the years. Its very cute!

We use ribbon (maybe 3"-4") taped to the back of each card to make a long horizontal "garland" of them to go around the Christmas tree.

We tape them onto the back of the enrty door. People love reading them when they come over and it makes our LR a little more festive.
