Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Another wedding in the family!
My cousin (who was a bridesmaid of mine) just got engaged tonight. :-)
It'll be so nice to be on the other side of things! <sigh> I'm so happy for her; but I am glad to be able to help someone else cope with wedding stressors, instead of dealing with it happening to me! haha
I'm certainly suggesting she become a Knottie, and bond with her month brides, whatever month it may be!!!
There are a few of us who have other friends/family that have gotten engaged since our weddings right?

That is very exciting! I can't wait to start seeing some weddings from "the other side" lol! We don't have anyone yet who has gotten engaged - but I have been told my two of our very close friends that they will be proposing to their gf's this christmas holiday!!! I am sooo excited!!!

My BIL got engaged about 2 months ago and they'll be getting married in Oct 2011. DH is going to be the best man. I'm pretty excited. I just gave FSIL a few leftover bridal magazines I had to get her started. It is nice to be on the other side, especially since I really won't be involved in this one and I love weddings. They're the best parties!

My brother and 2 of my close college friends all got engaged the month after we did. The first wedding is my brother's, on New Years Day. We are super excited! The next is in May, and then my best friend gets married in June! It's so fun to be helping, but not overwhelmed!!

I'm in a friends wedding this coming July and am really happy to be on the other side of things! I loved planning my own wedding, but it's nice to be able to be able to offer advice, ideas, etc. and not have to deal with the stress that goes along with it

We have a wedding for someone I work with this coming Saturday, and then two weeks later one of my BMs is getting married, so it'll be a pretty busy couple of weeks in terms of weddings in my life.
