Just saw below you had a baby shower. How did it go? Did I miss you previously posting about this?

It was great, lots of fun! My mom and sis put it together and I kept the invite list small, so I was able to chat with everyone.
Only downside - I think I put too many expectations into people using our registry. We had maybe 3 people purchase from the registry? And got a TON of blankets, burp cloths and bibs. I ended up returning a good chunk of that. Thankfully most of it was from BRU, so I used it today towards a few big items and that helped us out. Gifted lots of clothes too, which thankfully I've held off on buying much of that, so we can still use those.
My MIL threw me a small shower last weekend out by them for her family since most of them refuse to travel. My mother is throwing me another shower here for family, family friends and my friends.
At my first shower, a lot of people did the same thing that yours did. They really didn't go off the registry and we got some doubles and triples of things which we returned. It was nice though and we got lots of stuff and also returned some things and were able to purchase our big car seat.
I am going to PM you about something though I need your opinion on:)
