PG Check In!

How are you lovely ladies doing??

I'm good, 16 weeks today! I posted an updated bump pic in the "bpf" post. It slowly starting to resemble a real bump, and less of a beer gut appearance. We spent the weekend in Philly for the Army Navy football game, which was fantastic. It was a nice super mini vacation, definitely glad to be back home with my hubby though. Luckily I had enough energy to walk around Philly, and stay awake through the entire game, I was impressed. I'm hoping the new burst of energy stays, and wasn't just a fluke.

No new cravings. I did have two pickles and green apple slices for dessert one night, that was an interesting, yet amazing, combo.

My overly happy baby girl!

Re: PG Check In!

  • im doing pretty well! i *think* i felt the baby kick or move last night when we were at a concert, but i haven't felt it today so i'm not sure.  it was a really different kind of feeling, i'm pretty sure it was the baby :-)

i've been on a huge Slurpee kick for the past week...i think about them all day long, but limit myself to just 1 a day.

    18 weeks on tuesday!!!

That's soo exciting!!! I may have felt the baby move today too, it felt like three bumps all in the same place, and I didn't fart afterwards... But I'm hesitant to believe it was Baby Mo because I just turned 16 weeks (granted baby has been measuring half a week ahead.. but still..)

AHH!! I'm so excited you felt your baby!!

ahhh i went through a slurpee obsession. it started at once a day and as the summer got hotter and my stomach got bigger, it became 2x a day.  i never got the urge again once i gave birth.

    congrats girls!

  • Doing okay this week has been slightly rough with a few headaches and zero appetite, though I have been drinking so much OJ that today we picked up some lower cal lower sugar kind. I came out to two people IRL which was sooo nice to be able to talk about.
  • I'm pretty sure it was 18 weeks when I felt a real kick. I'd have to go back and look at a calendar b/c I remember the day. Kid never stopped moving after that.

OMG that sucks!!! I really have strayed from eating healthy in the last few days, the baby carrots I bought made me gag. I think the 'tartness' of the OJ is what is so attractive to me. I have been pretty lucky these first 8 weeks though.

  • Hi girls!  I'm glad to hear you are all doing well!  I am 23 weeks today and feeling pretty good.  I've been feeling lots of movement since 20 weeks, it was mostly at night but now I'm noticing it throughout the day too.  And Blair can put his hand on my tummy and feel the kicks!  So cool.  To me it feels like big bubbles popping in my stomach, but at first it felt more like inside muscle twitches.  Is that what your movements felt like?

Pookums, don't worry about eating healthy right now, just eat what ever sounds good and doesn't make you sick!

We have our crib and picked out paint colors, and I bought the bedding!  Here is a pic of me from this morning, and then a picture of the bedding:

  • I wouldnt discount those movements just yet girls!  I'd put $ on that it was in fact the baby!  Crazy as it sounds, I started feeling LO early-like around 14-15 weeks.  It started as lil "pops" down low near my public bone, then pokes and then rolls and then eventually kicks and stretching and butt pokes, haha.

As for my "check in" you don't want to know.  I want you all to remain blissfully ignorant to the discomforts of the end of 3rd tri. Stick out tongue
