Last night was the first chance we had to put up our Christmas tree (which is artificial). We've been so busy that we were just exhausted, and after making dinner we kind of collapsed. And decided that we might not decorate at all for Christmas this year...
Nobody is coming to our house for Christmas; we'll go to SIL's for Christmas with the family. And we'll exchange presents Christmas morning but I figure I can turn on the yuletide log on our HDTV and maybe that will feel Christmasy.
I just don't have the energy to decorate. Usually I love that kind of stuff, but every evening after work we have something going on- even in the next few weeks. It's crazy! (And weekends are the same.)
So, does this make me a grinch? ![]()
I might change my mind if we have some extended free time... But I don't see that happening until actual Christmas at this point.

No not at all! I alway put up a tree every year even though no one comes to our house but I love Christmas time and to decorate and we will actually be home this year so it makes it all worth it for me.
Sometimes if you go to dollar tree they will have little fake tree's you could put something like that up or you could just put the stuff out in the Kitchen thats christmasy.
Is that Yuletide log that thing thats suppose to be in 3d and plays xmas music? TJ found something on comcast like that... but um w/out 3d glasses, it looked like two fireplaces on top of each other. who sits around in 3d glasse? lol.
Oh, thanks. I feel better. I'm also worried about stink bugs- I keep hearing that they're all over in attics and that's where all our Christmas stuff is stored. I'll have to get up there, though, if I want to at least send out cards.
And that's true, I could decorate other areas of the house and just not worry about the tree. I'm not sure I want to buy another one, even if it's smaller- we already have a ton of Christmas decorations.
Tammy, the one I've seen isn't 3D but maybe they've changed that. They only have the one I've seen on Christmas day and it plays Christmas music in the background. I actually can't handle 3D at all- it makes me nauseous. We tried to watch Avatar in the movie theater in 3D and I ended up taking off the glasses. When we got in in Blu Ray and watched it at home, it was so much better! Haha.
I think you need a 3D capable player to see anything 3D, right? (And of course the glasses.)

And yeees, stinkbugs love the attic. my attic is proof!
I'm not even sure what a 3d capable player is haha. But I know we don't have one! So maybe it wouldnt have worked even with the glasses.
