Seriously, woke up to NO power...that was fun getting dressed in the dark. Left my make up at home so I look real great today. I'm still an icicle and two snow flurries last night.
Other than that, wonderful weekend with my nieces filled with playing outside and baking! I'll have to figure out how to PIP so I can show off their wonderful decorating skills. lol We made sugar cookies, snickerdoodles, brownies, chocolate covered pretzels and peppermint bark.

Re: Oh Monday...
I had a hell of a time waking up and getting around this morning. Our company holiday party was Saturday. I drank a bit too much and stayed out far too late, so K and I slept til 4pm yesterday!! We woke up, went to VA for dinner with friends and then I couldn't fall asleep for anything last night. Today may be one of those rare coffee-drinking days...
Like Sunshine, I stayed out way too late on Saturday night. Even though I managed to wake up at noon, I couldn't get to sleep last night. That might have something to do with the chipmunks that have taken up residence in my attic RIGHT ABOVE THE BEDROOM. I am absolutely exhausted.
On the plus side, MOH and I went shopping on Saturday (TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Target) and I got some awesome, basic stuff that I've been needing like whoa. And we had a damn good night, too.
Oh well, off to the first meeting of the day!

Woke up. Still queen.
its monday. im tired. even though my idea of staying up late on saturday was staying up until 12:30.
we set up our tree and put out the 6 decorations we have for the holidays. listened to lots of christmas music and got about 50% of my gifts purchased.
aaaaand now we are broke.

'Tis the season.
I feel ya. I just keep thinking of all the kick-ass gifts I could give people if I hadn't spent 3x my life's worth on a wedding 3 months ago...
Sounds like all is right in the world. We are all having bleaaaahh sorts of Mondays.
I had a decent weekend, but got into a squabble with the husband in the way in this morning. I really, really need to get my car back on the road. See, this is the price I pay for having friends work on my engine. Next time, I'm taking it to a shop I think. Also...I am struggling to fight off the urge to buy a new (to me) car altogether. I'm awful.

Suprise BFP Jan 15 2013. Hope this one sticks!
hahahah YES this please.
I have two staff meetings today. Kill me now. And the one at 9 was pushed back (10:15 still not happening) because these mofos can't get in here on time. WTF! I got up early to come in early for this since I had to get stuff done before it. Not a good way to start off Monday.
Another busy week ahead. I really need to push to get to the gym three measley times this week. It has to happen. I feel the holiday heaviness after only the first weekend of parties!!
MFD got the fattest tree in all of the land. It does not fit in our house. LOL
Happy Monday! DH and I decided to go to a party on Friday night "just for a couple hours." We didn't get home until 3:30AM. Oops. We had a good old time for ourselves, though
Saturday we slept in (duh!), then went out with some friends to see 127 Hours (James Franco is GOOD - OMG is he good!) and out to dinner at Bertuccis. Then home to vedge out for the night.
Sunday the weather was miserable, the roads were full of Black Ice, and DH and I just didn't feel like venturing out to go grocery shopping. So we stayed in, ordered take out, and now I have to go get groceries tonight after work.
We also watched Tom Brady and the Patriots roll over the Chicago Bears
Ugh...why do the weekends go by so fast?
We had a quiet weekend. On Saturday we ran our morning errands. We picked up the last Christmas gift we had to get. We saw Killers (Netflix) and I must say I was disappointed. We went over to my aunt's for her boyfriend's b-day party. Stopped by my dad's for a bit. Then went to Chili's for a drink. I had their Champord 1800 margarita. Man oh man is that thing good. Chambord + tequila= yum!
Sunday was our football and cleaning day. So disappointed that the Raiders lost but at least they played one hellofa game. Also disappointed that the 49ers won, but glad that the Cowboys lost. Our family is pretty serious about football and the fave teams are Raiders, 49ers and Cowboys.
I also saw the footage of the Metrodome roof collapsing. Holy cow! That looked like a scene out of an action flick! Thank goodness it did not happen during a game.
Citygirl, yes, you have bragging rights since your team won...sigh.
I am so jealous. I love that place and there aren't any near me. *pouts*

IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
haha why the sigh? We play really well in the snow. Ever since Randy Moss left we've been playing much better it seems like! I'm happy they won, even happier the Jets LOST!
We are football opposites - I was rooting for the Cowboys. Can't stand Michael Vick and the Philly Eagles almost as much as I can't stand the Jets and the Colts!
DH was upset he didn't get to watch his Giants play at the Metrodome yesterday. I guess it was a good thing they didn't!! That video was just plain creepy.
Hate Mondays! But, I have a feeling this weeke is going to go by fast, since there is so much to do next week. H never ever does laundry but he needed a load done for work this morning so he said if I put it in the washer he would move everything into the dryer later that night. So I put everything in the washer and he moves it to the dryer this morning I go to pull my big comfy sweater and jeans out of there and everything is still damp. The man can NOT do laundry!!. I was so mad because I oddly got my hopes up to wear that sweater.
Also today at H's work they finally get a general manager. H got promoted to assisant mgr when the old assisant manager and general mgr quit within the same month. And he has been practically doing his job and the big boss job for two months now, so i'm alittle nervous for him just to see how today turns out.
And I have to stop by the grocery store on the way home today for stuff for dinner because all we have in the house is side dishes but nothing to make a main course out of. It's cold and windy and I dont' want to stop!!
The sigh is because my team lost. I also can't stand Michael Vick and any team he plays on, but I just love teasing my aunt about the Cowboys losing. I'm one to talk right? I like the Colts because I like Payton, but they're going down on the 26th when they come to Oakland. We might go to that game.
It's funny because yesterday I told DH that he was lucky to have a wife he loves football even more that he does...lol.
We have been under a winter storm warning since Friday night. It seriously sucked and ruined all of our weekend plans. Now with the wind chill it is -7, I need to shovel and clean off our porch roofs, but I do not want to go outside.
I am seriously whiny today....everything that I have been doing for the last month has been determined by other people or the weather. I really need a day away from people to do what I need to do, even a workout would be great.
I am getting excited for Christmas and looking forward to spending some quality time with my family. We always do Christmas Eve at Grandma's and we haven't had time to see most of our family since the wedding. We are also hoping that my dad will be home by Christmas since he is getting stronger fast now. It is a no gift Christmas here so we are really looking forward to good family time...what the holiday should be about.
