Pasadena here we come!
So through DH's work, we get to go to the Rose Bowl this year!
I am so excited that we not only get to see the Wisconsin Badgers play, but also that we get to spend 5 days, including New Years in Los Angeles - good bye snowy Wisconsin and hello sunny California!

Is it bad that I kind of want to take my tripod?? I'm not going to because what a hassle that would be on the plane, but I can only imagine the night pictures!
I think we're going to skip the Parade though. It seems like a shame, but then you realize that the tickets are $140 a person or you have to camp out overnight to get the curbside viewing and at that you aren't guaranteed anything - plus you lose a day of vacation for that. So on game day, instead of going to the parade we'll go to the tailgate party sponsored by DH's work instead! If we see some floats on the way, that's cool, if not, no biggie!
If we were out there longer I totally would! We'll only have 2 days plus game-day and no car; since we are going through DH's work we will have to work the on site help desk for a few hours and I am not sure when that will be just yet.
