Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Busted!!
A few weeks ago when Keith was over, he went into the basement and said he "fixed" the guage where the water/sewer usage is measured. We've been getting bills for anywhere from 14,000-18,000 gallons in a 3 month period ever since we moved in. My last water/sewer bill was for $186 for three months. Two of those months Keith didn't even live here!!
I'm working from home today (terrible road conditions) and a worker from the city just came over to "check" my meter since they're not getting a reading from it. Um yeah...turns out Keith had snapped the wire, cutting off all readings!!! Yikes!!
I played stupid and the city worker said this stuff happens all the time from old wire and cold weather. 
At least I didn't get accused of trying to rip off the city!
