I'd like to get a few meals made next month before the little guy comes so that we have 'em to pop in the oven or whatever when we have absolutely no time to cook. My issue - not a ton of freezer space. What are some of your favs that might not take up a lot of room? I'll probably do a few casseroles, but I was thinking of stuff I can put in a bag, maybe soups, enchiladas, quesadillas, etc.?

Re: Freezer meals
My blog has an enchilada and a turkey chili recipe that both will hold well. One can go in a 13x9 pyrex (unless you cook it before hand, it won't sit well in a bag, will get mushy), and the other can go in a freezer safe bowl.
You could also pre make beef or turkey meatballs and toss them in a bag with some sauce
Chicken Matzo Ball Soup (yum) also on my blog.

oh, i'll have to check that out, too. thanks, meg!
heather, things like hamburger/pork/turkey bbq, beef stroganoff, taco meat, soups, chils, etc. can be put in those round containers from the deli. i think the large ones are 2 lbs? they take up less freezer space than casserole dishes.
