Restaurants near Varsity Theater?
I'm going to Train! Anyone have restaurant recs nearby? We'd like to park, walk to eat and walk to the theater.

Kafe 421 is a block or two away. One of our favorite restuarants!
421 14th Avenue SoutheastI'm in the minority for this, but I really don't like Loring Pasta Bar. I've been twice; once the food was horrible, the other the service was awful.
There are tons of restaurants nearby though... I love Dinkytown. What are you in the mood for? There are a few delicious pizza places... Kafe 421 is really good as well. Depending what you're craving, Blarney's has really good bar food

I just switched our reservation from Loring to Kafe 421. The menu at Kafe 421 has at least double the options, and better prices. We don't need something super heavy before we go stand at a concert all night!

If they still have the pita with artichoke dip, get that. It was delicious.
