Friday I tried to pick up our wedding album, but the studio was closed. Then we went grocery shopping- how exciting. Saturday I went out to the barn early with my mom to ride. Velvet jumped for the first time!! I'm sooo excited about that, especially since she seemed to enjoy it!
It's the discipline that I love and I really missed jumping. It feels so good to really work with her and to know that she's finally ready to start. It's kind of what I live for
Then for the rest of the day, I hid inside away from the storm. Hubby and I actually got to spend some time together. Sunday, I would have gone to church, but our apartment is on a hill, and I didn't think my car would be able to handle it, so I made sugar cookies, watched a movie and played with Trevor instead. Later, DH and I finally went to go order new tires for my car. Now, I get to wait until they get shipped here. Now, I'm sitting at my desk with the office's burnt coffee, bleh.
I just want to ride, Alllll week now that she has jumped. A.D.D. on jump training right now...... If I could make a career out of training, I would leave the office right now, ahaha
Re: How was everyone's weekend?
We did some christmas shopping, visited my parents and went to a surprise birthday party for a friend.
Other than that, i cleaned some and did laundry. No snow for us yet
just tons of rain.

We got up early Saturday morning to go get a Christmas tree. Then DH left for the weekend - he went to go spend some quality time with his dad. So I spend all of Saturday getting the rest of the Christmas shopping done. It's pretty much all done (except for 1-2 small random items) and got most of it wrapped. Then I spent the rest of the night watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies.
Sunday was church and grocery shopping. Oh and laundry. Fun times.
My weekend was good. VERY busy but good. I feel like I haven't had a single minute to slow down and relax lately.
Friday- Worked 8-1, Photographed an engagement shoot 2:30-4:30, dad's b-day dinner after that. Hubby got sick, dealt with that the rest of the night.
Saturday- Edited photos unitl I had to go photograph a holiday party
Sunday- Wedding dress shopped with a friend, chores, more editing, dinner with some friends.
I had an amazing weekend!!
Saturday~Baked 13 dozen lemon butter cutout cookies, made homemade vegetable barley soup, cleaned the whole house, did ALL of the laundry and played video games with DH all night. We got 16 inches of snow this day...so it was definately a stay inside day
Sunday~Helped DH clear the snow from around our house, Went to the movie theater with DH and saw "The Tourist" (which was an Awesome movie). Then we went out to eat and went grocery shopping afterwards. Then went and looked at computers, we are getting the HP Touchsmart All-in-One tomorrow
On the way home we stopped by our family business (carwash) which was in need of snow shoveling-BAD! So we spent an hour shoveling out the snow...then went home to find our garage door broken
So we spent 2 hours to fix the stupid thing...and it's still not fixed! LOL!
All in all, it was a fabulous weekend. PS~I'm 25 tomorrow, and not looking forward to getting older! haha
I don't mean to be a downer...
but, my weekend was pretty crappy. I'm not sure if it's the hormones, but I felt super cranky and unhappy. DH has a weekly Sat. night poker night, which we host b/c everyone else still lives with their parents and it's getting old...they shout at each other the entire time so that I can't go to bed when I want or even hear the tv when I'm trying to watch a movie. I don't really have many girlfriends to hang out with to get out of the house, so it just drives me crazy.
...sorry for the vent, it felt good to get it out though!
I highly suggest noise canceling headphones. They are WELL worth the investment. I have an older version of these: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDRNC22-PIN-Canceling-Earbuds/dp/B000MPRF9C/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1292297051&sr=8-18 Totally saved me when I was writing my dissertation and when I lived next to the obnoxious people in the condo and when I shared an office with a bunch of people. I like the sony ones b/c they come with a couple of different size ear-buds, so they fit you specifically.
As for my weekend... Friday we unpacked. Saturday we unpacked and I watched lifetime movies while unpacking. I made soup. I felt a cold coming on all day and ended up taking nyquil. Sunday we did church, finished our radon inspection with flying colors (had the mitigation system installed last week, it's down 3 units, below FDA rec levels!), made meatballs, unpacked some more, and slept early again!
And this week is going to be busy... lots of holiday parties, getting my hair cut, we are getting new windows, lots of stuff going on at work and my birthday is this weekend!
