Are you Ready for Christmas?
Hello everyone
Is everyone almost ready for Christmas? If not, what do you have left to do?

Re: Are you Ready for Christmas?
ummm
I need a turkey
DD needs to paint her ornaments to her grandmother
I have to wrap thirty thousand presents
clean my house and locate a couple table clothes to fit both my dining tables so I can have 18 people over to dinner....
I still have to buy Christmas presents for about 18 people.
I need to choose some recipes and do some baking.
I guess that's it, but it feels like a lot with so little time left.
I find gift shopping to be very stressful.
I am all done! We will still need to go shopping for DS next week though. My family has just been sending us a cheque to go out and pick stuff up and my dad just let me know they mailed us a cheque and should be getting it sometime this week. They want us to get Austin a toy.
We had all our gifts purchased wrapped and mailed back to Ontario the first week of December. I finished DH's on the weekend.
I don't know if we're going to do a turkey dinner here for the 3 of us or not, so we don't have one yet.

Thanks I am sooo there! That is if the snow stops. I also need diapers.
Almost done!
We have the tree up and 99% of the gifts bought. I mailed my Christmas cards n Monday.
All that is left is to wrap and deliver all fo the gifts and do some christmas baking this weekend.
My mom has offerred to cook the family turkey dinner at our place so that's one less thing on my list...woohoo!
Close. I have really cut down on the baking and gift buying we did this year ... plus the gifts we are still giving were bought back in July (tickets to the Canadian Tenors).
Orginally I was only supposed to have 4 people over to my house for Christmas Eve and now that number has grown to 7 or 8 so I am kind of annoyed but I refuse to go all out with the food and booze. I am only going to do one appy and one dessert.
I still have to do cleaning which is what seems to be the most time-consuming and the most annoying part of preparing.
I have a bit of shopping left...a couple gifts for BIL and SIL, a gift for my younger bro and his fiancee, a gift for my dad, a gift for my sis, and the inlaws.
We haven't put up the tree, but we won't be here for Christmas, so I think we will just leave it down.
Oh and the crappiest thing ever...my mom's gift was waiting to be picked up at the jewelry store, and it was robbed today. So, my mom's getting an IOU because some jackazz stole her present.
O my gosh that is unreal! What a grinch.
