What do you think is.....?
The most annoying holiday song?? Come on, you know there is at least one that makes you cringe!!!
Re: What do you think is.....?
We were JUST having a conversation about this at work. This year is the first time I have heard this song, and I don't know what it is called. All I know is these are the lyrics:
We wish you the happiest the happiest, the happiest, the happiest, we wish you the happiest the happiest...New Yeaaaar
We wish you the merriest, the merriest, the merriest, the merriest, we wish you the merriest..
Something along those lines. I want to scream EVERY time it comes on.
I think of that every time I hear that song! And it always makes me laugh! That movie is too funny....FOUR FOR YOU GLEN COCO...YOU GO GLEN COCO!
Again, I prove my point that I'm really a 12 year old trapped in a 27 year old's body, as the talent show scene in Mean Girls only makes me love Jingle Bell Rock that much more.
And Feliz Navidad can go ahead and disappear -- you live in south florida for a while and tell me if you're not SO SICK OF IT.

Great Post!
Along the lines of sad, depressing Christmas songs - mine is "Please Come Home for Christmas" by the Eagles...
Bells will be ringing this sad sad New Years
Oh what a Christmas to have the blues
My baby's gone I have no friends
To wish me greetings once again
Cries will be singing Silent Night
Christmas carols by candlelight
Please come home for Christmas
Please come home for Christmas
If not for Christmas by New Years night
Friends and relations send salutations
Sure as the stars shine above
But this is Christmas yes Christmas my dear
The time of year to be with the ones you love
So won't you tell me you'll never more roam
Christmas and new Years will find you home
There'll be no more sorrow no grief and pain
And I'll be happy, happy once again
Oh there'll be no more sorrow, no grief and pain
And I'll be happy, Christmas once again
Really? A song about being depressed on Christmas?? Nooooo!
OHH! I forgot! Wham's "Last Christmas" sung by effin' Taylor Swift. BOOOOO! Not only should that song be left strictly for George Michael to perform, but I can't stand Taylor Swift and her annoyingness anyhow so I'm a li'l biased. I change the station when that one comes on too.
Our easy-listening station plays Christmas music 24/7 from the week of Thanksgiving all the way until New Years Day. I listen to it all day at work, and when Taylor or Santa Baby comes on I move the dial to my beloved hard rock station, conveniently located one notch to the right...
Santa Claus is Comin' To Town is another one I'm iffy on. It depends on who sings it. Amanda thinks the song is creepy and stalker ish but she's in this phase right now where Santa creeps her out because of a haunted house she went to this year. LOL BTW - what the heck is a Roody-toot toot or a Rummy-tum tum???
"I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus" is really getting on my nerves this year.
That and all the remakes of the songs I've heard where country singers are singing them. I don't mind country, but seriously...Kelly Pickler singing "Santa Baby"????
Santa Claus is Coming to Town - Bruce Springstein
All I want for Christmas is you - Maria Carey
