Went a little overboard with the baking.......
So I was VERY excited to have a large kitchen (we just moved) and have all these new wedding presents to use this holiday season. I think I went a little overboard with the holiday cookie baking.
Yeah, That's 14 different cookies. And that doesn't count the chocolate covered peanuts that I threw in to use up the melted chocolate.
I'm done being such a domesticated wife for a while..... It sounded like fun at first, but i'm done!

holy crap.
i am scared--this weekend i need to bake enough for 20 goodie bags of cookies. that means 60+ of each cookie (4 types of cookies) all on saturday.
PLUS on saturday after the cookies, i need to make three different kinds of stuffed mushrooms enough to feed 40-50 people.
And do my holiday shopping and wrap gifts.

I def learned my lesson. Next time i bake, it will all be within one weekend. Spreading it out over a couple weekends made it hard b/c I didn't realize, or I forgot about other cookies I already had.
But now, we have a lot of cookies that I can give out to people like the neighbors, mailman, etc.
Wow! You have one busy baker. They all look yummy.
I've been testing recipes every weekend. I'll be doing all of my baking this weekend and hope to deliver our goodies Sunday and mail some on Monday.
I think I will make peppermint meltaways, PB cup cookies, and chocolate chips.
Shauni, I hope you're going to make PDub's brie stuffed mushrooms as one of yours! I like to use fontina now instead of the brie. It's a little more flavorful.
Ok i'm going to need you to send me 5 of every one of those cookies. Just so I can test them before you give them out. haha
This year I am not making any cookies, I am making Cake Balls (yuuummm) and Bite Size Cheesecakes.
damnit...now I'm really hungry.
I really don't want to have to go outside to get lunch though
