Bored out of my mind
I am so bored at work today! Its snowing (and has been all weekend) really hard here but work was still open. However, I am one of the 4 stupid people who didn't use the excuse that I couldn't make it and stay home. We have 4 people here between our two buildings and 60 something employees. Unfortunately my supervisor is one of the ones here so I can't leave. But we have no clients here and I have no work to do. There is only so much fb stalking one can do in a day. Someone entertain me! Anything new going on, good websites you'd recommend, interesting stories, anything 
Help a sista out!

I always hate when people claim that they can't possibly get to work because of snow. Half of our employees make it on snowy days and it seems like the other half just can't make it. I don't buy it. So, good for you for going in!
I woke up early to ride in with DH this morning, and I'm glad I did because my little Jetta would never had made it out of the driveway without me shoveling (sp) first...and by then I would have been all gross and wet and not in the mood. I bet some of the people out today are in that group, but most of them are probably slackers.
Entertaining...you should go over to PC&E and read the tandem breast-feeding post.

I am one of the people who didn't make it to work today because of snow. Even with AWD in my SUV, it is no match for plow ridges 4 feet tall... not exaggerating! I'm sure by now you've all seen footage of the Metrodome in Minneapolis collapsing - that is a handful of blocks from my office. We had 23 inches of snow Friday night into Saturday and they just finished plowing my street tonight.
I had to rake snow off of my roof because we've got ice dams forming and I was standing in the area we had shoveled the snow from the sidewalk into and it was up to my thighs. I wish it was as fun to do that now as it was when I was a kid... I sorta stumbled into the snow bank when my foot got caught up and got snow down the back of my pants. brrrrr. Can't say I enjoyed staying home though!
