Can I just say that I don't think I have ever been more jealous of anyone! How did you score tickets to the Dexter screening with the cast? OMG, that is awesome!
BTW, was Michael C. Hall absent? I read on people.com that Deb (can't think of her name IRL) didn't arrive with him but it didn't say anything about him not being there.
If I met him IRL I would probably freeze up and stutter like an idiot. Dude, he's HOT! He is in my top 5!

OMG I would have DIED if Michael C. Hall had shown up, but if he did, I didn't see him. He definitely wasn't there before the show, and Jennifer Carpenter left before the show ended, so I didn't see either of them after. I was sooooo hoping he would be there when I saw her show up (before I knew they were separating), and since I knew he was in NYC all week, but no such luck. I totally might have had to molest him if he did show, and those free drinks were strong enough I just might have actually done it. I freaking love him.
It was still nice to meet Jennifer Carpenter though - they had only advertised that Laguerta and Batista would be there, so she was a bonus! And all of them were sooooo friendly and down to earth. Some of the nicest celebs we've met so far!
It was totally free to get in, it was just first come first served. So we got there at 5:30 to wait in line, and doors opened at 8. We were about 25 people back in line, and they let in 150. It was so incredibly awesome. I can't believe Showtime does that for the fans! It was so great!
They did it last year too, in both NYC and LA. Only Quinn came to the NYC party, but all the main cast (including Michael C. Hall) were at the LA party. I guess they just did NYC this year, so we got some more people.

That's awesome! I never in a million years would be able to convince my H to stand in line with me! So you H scored a few points in my book!
I would love to go to something like that! I know I have told you before, but I think it's awesome that you take advantage of all the things NY has to offer.

Haha, Eric is used to standing in line forever. Pretty much anything like that you want to do in NYC involves a long wait and a big crowd. At least this line was inside a warm, dry hotel and not outside in the cold and rain!
We are enjoying NYC, although I don't think we'll be here much more than another year so we're trying to do all we can. And you know, if you ever find yourself up this way, I'd be happy to take you around to do fun things.

I am trying to talk my mom into a girls weekend to NYC sometime next year
I haven't been to NYC since I was a kid and would LOVE to visit again soon! And I would LOVE to meet you too!
