Hacking cough
What do you do to soothe a dry hacking cough? I had an infection, finally gone thanks to an RX but I can not seem to get rid of this cough. It is driving me batty so I can only imagine my co-workers.
I have tried sucking on hard candy, hot tea, throat spray, freezing cold drinks of every variety, and finally today - I went and got cough syrup. The cough syrup isn't helping and I can't take anymore for another hour or so anyway.
I am kind of looking for another non-medicinal option. I really don't want to call the doctor, I will see him Friday anyway.

Thanks Critti, I will have to try some honey when I get home. I think DH may kick me out of the house tonight if I don't get this damn cough under control. I am kidding!
