As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Woot! New furniture!
Soo... we bought the new furniture for the dining room! A friend's DH will build living room tables and an entertainment center & bookcases to match. The table & chairs should be delivered on Friday and the hutch will be in the end of the year or January, which is fine. I'm so happy the table will be here before all the family arrives! Now I have to sell my very girly painted Victorian drop-leaf set.
I also have to start figuring out how to redecorate that room. It already has a chair rail and ugly dark brown wallpaper below it, an ugly wine bottle border above it, and the rest of the wall is white. I think that room has the dreaded 5 layers of wallpaper that won't come off, so I'll start looking for a nice muted wallpaper that I don't hate. This will be quite the challenge... I'm thinking maybe browns & creams based on the seat cushions. I'll add color with dishes and curtains.
