s/o ornaments ~ gift ideas

Since this is really my first Christmas with A, what is a good gift we could give (made or bought) for her grandparents & great grandparents?

Re: s/o ornaments ~ gift ideas

  • I love this idea:

Angi used green I think. I am going to do it on blue.

  • Thanks for posting this.  I forgot there was  poem that went with them.  I used blue ornaments this year too, but I only did his 4 fingers and not his thumb.  One cupcake bribe later and they turned out pretty nice.  They're drying now.

  • Everyone LOVED those ornaments last year. I attached the poem to ribbon and tied it thru the little hook.

A word to the wise, make a few extra. Just in case one gets broke. B2 broke the one at my MIL's house. He thru his ball at the tree and boom. broken. MIL was heartbroken, but thank goodness I had a few extra.

I know there is place nearby Toledo that does hand or foot imprints in glass for an ornament...but for the life of me I cant remember where, maybe the Birds and Bees...but I know it was pretty pricey.

If all esle fails, you could always just buy ornaments that say Baby's first Christmas and hold a picture.

  • Oh, I LOVE them!  I think I'm going to work up the nerve to try to make them. I'm not very good at drawing/painting, so I worry about that part.
