I swear you are getting something! It's even bought and ready to go, I just need to go to our post office that has ridiculously short hours! I will try soooo hard to go tomorrow.
Anyways, I hope your gift arrives by the 17th/18th. If not, please know I did not forget about you.
Again, I'm really sorry it's taking me so long.
Thanks,
Eskamo

:::quietly signs own name next to everyone else's and creeps back out::
it should go in the mail tomorrow though.
P.P.S. Um, I would also like to add an additional disclaimer:
I totally forgot how to wrap presents. I don't know if maybe I didn't wrap any last year, or I've forgotten over the past year...? Regardless, I didn't have any fun wrapping paper and it kind of looks like crap. So...sorry about that.
I hope you like it!

Making a trip to the post office tomorrow, should be there Thursday or Friday....and mighty relieved I'm not the only one! I meant to get it there today but Loki got neutered and the day did not go as expected, work schedule was nuts and lunchtime was cut down to scarfing down a sandwich at my desk

I'll jump on this.
I've been having major anxiety about this. We moved, so I've never been to this post office before, and I've also never mailed a package before, so I'm really nervous. DH also can't come with me because of the trees.
I'll be going today, definitely.

It's the thought that counts. I love wrapping. I have like 272345 rolls of Christmas paper, actually about seven or eight, and I love to try and match paper to the gift/person.

I am the same way. I forced myself to not buy anymore wrapping paper until I used at least half of what I got. So far I have been doing good and it's been a couple years. Yes, I had a lot.
My gift got mailed USPS yesterday during the lunch hour. So, whomever I have should be getting their gift soon!
OF COURSE I found some more wrapping paper this morning, after I had sealed the box! Son of a...
Oh well, it's not like the quality of my wrapping would have improved with cuter paper. I need you girls to give me lessons! I always end up using bags instead of wrapping stuff.

I'm not gonna lie, my gift is in three parts, and I only actually wrapped one of the three. Sorry :-/
Lots of packing peanuts though haha
i haven't been able to get out of the office all day today. the office mgr has been out all week, so i have been uncharacteristically busy and staying in the office since there isn't anyone else here to answer the phone's. i'm leaving early today (430ish), since i have a chiro appt at 530. as long as i can get out of here on time and the post office hasn't decided to quit for the day, i should be able to get my package out! if not, it'll have to be tomorrow. so sorry!!
oh, and i wrapped nothing. oops. we don't have any wrapping paper (er, if we do, it has been lost since the move) and it didn't seem like it was wrapping necessary. i did pack it with tissue paper though! win!
can we just chalk this up to 12/17 being a general estimated day to deliver gifts?? HA.
I mailed mine. The post office was super busy and they were shouting at the line that the national computer system was down so it was taking longer than normal.
It cost me $12 to mail the package because it was four pounds, DH was not happy... oops. It would have been better in a flat rate box, but I didn't know that until it was too late.

I didn't get a flat rate box either, and I fear I may have high shipping costs too.
Oh well - this is all a learning curve for next year, right??
