Bosses gifts?

So, obviously, I work for 2 lawyers who have much more money than me.  I am at a loss on what to buy them that would not look completely cheap.

I would gift treats, but one of my bosses has dietary restrictions, so she can't eat Chocolate or anything with dairy.

So, any ideas?  One is more fancy than the other, one is pretty plain, not sure about the drinking situation, so don't want to gift alcohol.

Any ideas welcome!

Thanks!

Re: Bosses gifts?

  • what about one of those movie ticket, popcorn, soda package deals?  Or, check out the Groupon for Boston today....looks like an interesting deal for not much money...not sure how much you want to spend...
  • Ditto the movie ticket thing.  Or maybe PPAC gift certificate?  We did that a few years ago.

  • A donation made in their name to a charity... maybe Ronald McDonald House, or some other children's charity?

  • Umm, should I be getting my boss something? I never have before.

  • i love the donation in their name! you don't have to specify an amount and can still do something they are comfortable with.

i gave wine to my bosses who i knew were drinkers, twatface didn't drink so i did starbucks gift cards and last year a lunch bag bag from etsy in colors i knew she'd like. i usually keep boss's gifts in the $15-20 range.

I have nothing to contribute except for the fact that I called my boss the same thing!! Its such a great phrase...LOL
