Re: **Favorite Homemade Gifts**
I love homemade gifts- it means someone spent their time doing something special for me- even if its a jar of something- they thought to include me...
I love to get breads and spice mixes and I love to get munchies
I usually dont do homemade gifts because I dont consider myself "crafty" but this year I am giving chocolate spoons and truffles in mini terracotta pots.
Well, this year I made boxes for my siblings/families to ship (earliest I've ever been done- yay!) and gave them these homemade goodies:
- a dozen biscotti (4 each of brownie, plain, and cherry/chocolate)
- a pound of candied almonds
- a pound of fingerlakes coffee (obviously not homemade)
I bought boxes and cellophane goodie bags from nashville wraps this year and I love how nice they look all boxed up.
I love to receive any type of homemade goodie.
Not sure if you follow Kelle Hampton's blog (love her!) but she made salt scrub - very nice -

I like stuff like a nice knitted scarf, my aunt knitted stockings (for Santa) for the kids, photo products (pictures in frames, my aunt made us a wedding album, etc), sewn stuff like a tote bag, quilt. I also like stuff like food.

I like to give homemade chocolates (dipped pretzels, molded lollipops, assorted flavored candy bark, peanut butter cups, etc) and tote bags that I design and sew.
I personally haven't received many homemade gifts, but I love the hand knitted blankets and sweaters family has made for my daughter.
