Exciting news!
I've got 2 sets of exciting news for a Wednesday!
1) Remember several weeks ago my Papaw had problems with his pacemaker and was in the hospital? The insurance company didn't want to pay for a new pacemaker because the one he had wasn't dead yet. Well after weeks of fighting they finally agreed, my Papaw gets his new pacemaker on Monday! Haha they wanted to do it Friday, but he told them he had things to do, it would have to wait till Monday.
2) HH's cousin works for an eye and ear doctor and they're looking for a front desk receptionist. I talked to her a little bit about it and the job sounds really promising. I told her what salary requirements I need, that I have 4 years front desk experience, and that I'm currently taking medical transcription classes. She's going to check on the salary, and if its enough I'm going to try and get an interview! This would be perfect for me, so keep your fingers and toes crossed that everything works out!

As a side note- they fought with your papaw on getting him a new pacemaker?! Insurance companies man... it's like they forget they're servicing REAL people! with REAL medical problems! bastards.
Yeah, they said that since the one he had wasn't dead, they couldn't give him a new one. If the one he has dies, do they think he won't? That's the whole point of him having one! Our whole family was prepared to raise the money for a new one since they cost thousands of dollars. Thank the Lord we don't have to now.
I have to fax or email my resume to HH's cousin tonight and she's going to see what she can do for me as far as that job goes =]
