DH... *sigh*... he means well... (WTF Wednesday)
This morning I asked my DH to make me some coffee. We have one of those dual travel mug coffee makers, so you can set it to one cup, two cups, and even it has two separate filters so you can have two different types of coffee brewing at the same time. Sounds great, right? Wrong. We often manage to mess up the settings one way or another, and this morning was "one of those days"...
DH drinks regular coffee, but I've been drinking decaf since we started TTC. After getting pregnant, I haven't really wanted coffee all that much, so it's rare that I ask DH to make coffee (coffee is his domain in the kitchen). So DH sets the coffee to brew then goes to take a shower. I'm done with the shower and go into the kitchen to start up the oatmeal... and find... a disaster.
DH forgot to set the coffee maker to 2 cups, so it poured all the watered down coffee into his cup, which couldn't handle it, so it spilled... everywhere. Unfortunately the coffee maker is on the counter right above the silverware drawer, so most of the extra coffee spilled into there.
And then, DH leaves for work earlier than I do, so guess who gets to do triage on the mess... ME. Lovely. I take all the flatware out of the drawer, dump it in the sink, then proceed to clean out the cutlery tray and the drawer itself.
Needless to say, I'm late for work. And now, I don't even feel like I want the stupid coffee.
Oh hey, it's WTF Wednesday... do I win? :P

Yep - I vote for your WTF! I can only imagine :-)) It definitely sounds like one of those deals where you'll look back on this story and tell with a good laugh...although I'm certain you weren't laughing as you cleaned up the mess this morning!
My WTF? I'd have to say this frigid weather also! I mean, I know it's supposed to be cold an all, but really? Enough, I say!!

My WTF is that I'm an idiot because I left the house and forgot to turn the crock pot on. Luckily my mom was running out today so she stopped over and turned it on for me. But I'm not in the clear yet......I unplugged the crock pot to plug in the can opener for a minute and can't remember if I switched the plugs back before I left. So I still need to go home at lunch anyhow to make sure the SOB is plugged in. It really bloz having outlet shortage over our kitchen counter!

Oh Kiki, that is so frustrating, Im sorry that you had to deal with that, especially first thing in the morning causing you to be late for work. You definitely win!
WTF, DH has had to be at work so much lately and is so stressed out. Whenever I do actually get to spend any time with him he is just so burnt out he is not himself. hopefully it gets better soon.
And oh my gosh it is SO FRIGGEN COLD!!!! But at least it snowed, and will hopefully snow again

WTF I am wanting a job adjustment (not leave the co, just a change of position bc I'm getting bored) and the regional is having me do all kinds of random stuff so my reg job is seeming blah

ROFLCOPTERS, Jeni, you had me totally laughing there! I know, I know... but I blame the pregnancy hormones... they have given me all kinds of blasphemous aversions... to coffee, chocolate, healthy food... it's sick.
I'm with you on the cold... we went like crazies to pick out our Xmas tree last night, in 20 degree weather. Definitely made the decision-making go faster, that's for sure!

@Cindy: DH forgot to plug the crock in once but he didn't even think about it so all day it sat out rotting! There went supper for that night and we had to throw it away too. I was SOO pissed!
My WTF: We had someone come over and look at the cracks in the floor of our tub. We thought it would be a quick fix. Apparently if we fix the cracks the guy couldn't guarantee how long it would last because our tub is the original in the house (read 35+ years old) and the tub company at that time decided it was a good idea to put a honeycomb cardboard under the tub as a filler between the tub and floor. Yes you read that right, CARDBOARD under a bathtub!! So it's looking like we are going to be completely remodeling the bathroom! Exciting because now I can get a double sink but not excited about the bill that is to come.

My WTF of the day is we found out to replace the ice tray in the fridge of the old house (which accidentally got damaged) is going to cost $130!!!! WTF!!! It's a stinking bucket that catches the ice cubes, that's all!
Also, to replace a bulb that is going out on the tv is NOT covered by the warranty and is going to cost another $150. Great...right in time for xmas!

YTF was I so busy today that the first time I can come on here is 11 pm CA time (it's already tomorrow for most of you ladies!) Work has been nuts and I'm dealing with a super nagging co-worker that is stressing me out SO much!!! I hate work politics!
