Need your opinions!
My sister is doing winter/January study abroad for school and she is headed down to Mexico. For Xmas, she only wants money to use on her trip for her spending/supplies etc. I don't want to just write her a check for her christmas present, it seems so informal and boring- even though that's what she wants/needs.
I was thinking maybe giving her cash and putting together a small tote bag/box of some treats ie. some fun nail polish, a cute tank top, some magazines to read on the plane etc.
If you were headed to mexico for january study abroad, would you want the extras or just the money you asked for?
