Now that life has slowed down a little for the winter months, I'm back to lurking and occasionally posting. But there are so many new faces that I feel the need to reintroduce myself.
I got hitched back in 2007 and live in the Standish area in a house we built while planning the wedding. I am a high school teacher, college professor, and I own my own business. I just wrapped up my master's degree this fall, hence a little bit more free time now. Our only kiddo is a furry 3 year old terrier mix named Digby. We might have human kids someday, but need to work more on this whole marriage thing before getting to that point.
Congratulations to all of you who are preggo (I can't believe that so many are on to #2 already) or have recently had an addition to their family. Hugs to those of you who have been having some hard times (I'm with you college ladies. Classes/exams suck!). And thumbs up to those of you who have had successes since I was last kicking around the Nest.

Yay! More Susie! More Susie!
Speaking of more Susie... after the holidays I think I need some more Susie photos in my life, we will have to make a date (plus you won't believe how big the boys are!)
I'm totally on board for some munchkin time! I should be footloose and fancy free in January since the college is on vacation and my edits will be done. So just let me know when you're free and I'll make myself available. I miss you (and the boys)!
I remember this too! Welcome back!

Ditto this! Thank goodness for FB or else I would've thought that you'd dropped off the face of the earth!
I felt like I did, too, Megan. It's been an absolutely insane couple of months and it's definitely worn me (and my marriage) out. Now that things are calming down, I'm trying to take care of my mental health more and not spend my entire life working (hard to do with 3 jobs, but I'm trying).
I'm hoping to make it on Saturday as well.
