When talking to my sister last night, she mentioned that she wanted a blender to make her shakes for the gym.
So, I was looking on the target website & was a little overwhelmed by the blender choices, options & price ranges. Eeek! I don't have a blender & don't drink gym shakes either. I don't know what makes a good blender. Any recs? I'm looking to spend no more than $50 if possible.
Thanks.
Re: Need gift help again
This I can help with.
Though I am loyal to my VitaMix, it is the mack-daddy of blenders and out of the price range.
I have heard good things about the magic bullet as a make and go type blender. Don't laugh that it is on infomercial.
H has this Kitchen Aid blender that he said he got to impress me when we were dating.

I have this thing and like it a lot since clean up is way easier than a big full size blender.

My blender is the one kitchen item I use.every.single.day.
Mine will last for 20+ years. The VitaMix my parents had when I was growing up lasted for 20 years and some (although they didn't use it every day) but then they traded it in for the latest and greatest modern version. It kinda has a cult following.
My blender can make and heat soup, chop, dice, and never burn out. It can make fresh peanut butter in minutes.
Yes, I'm attached to my blender.

Wow! That's impressive. I don't think she'll need her blender to do all of that. As long as it makes a shake & maybe a margarita or two, she should be happy.
