Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

VistaPrint has let me down :(

I ordered my Christmas cards from VistaPrint on 11/29 knowing they may take a while to come in. To my surprise they arrived this weekend (love them) however, there were no envelopes.

I went online to make sure I ordered them and I did so I sent an email asking if they were shipped separately or if I didn't get them. No response in the 2 days they said they would.

I call today and they say it looks like should have been shipped but weren't and it will take 7 days! I said, "Oh, no! They're Christmas cards. Is there any way they can be sent faster?" She said "no, that's the fastest we can send envelopes." I said "I'm not happy at all, this is not good" and she just kept repeating the schpeal they have to give, 'so sorry, it's just not possible' blah blah. She then said they've been shipping stuff earlier so it may be 4 days that I get them. We'll see. :(

  • Oh that sux.

    I think next year I'm going to do photo postcards instead of cards w/photos.  All the dang photo cards don't have cut outs big enough for an actual photo.

  • Oh that sucks so much! I can't believe they won't send them sooner considering it was their mess up. I hope they come in the right size.
  • I would get back on the phone and tell them that this is unacceptable. Since you are unable to send out your Christmas Cards on time they are useless to you and you want a full refund.. I am pretty good at getting my way Summer, if you want to email me your info I will call them myself and get your money back.. I hate when companies think they can do thing like this.. I don't care what they say, they can expedite friggin envelopes.. Jerks!!
  • Thanks Amy! I'll see if I get the guts up to call again around lunchtime and if not, I may take you up on that!! You're totally right. I really don't understand what it matters is in the package that they can't expedite it.

  • At this point, can you locate envelopes somewhere else?  What size do you need?
  • That's stupid that they can't overnight the envelopes to you since they are the ones who messed up.  I say let Amy get you your money back.

  • Demand them to either overnight them or 2 day air them or you are going to return the cards, never order from them again , and report them to the better business bureau . Believe me you will have your envelopes soon. I would also throw out there that this is your first child Christmas card and family members and fellow customers are going to very upset if they don't get them by Christmas.

  • Kathy, they're 5x7 cards. I guess if I get a chance Friday or Saturday I'll go see what Michael's or Target has. It will burn me that I have to go pay for more when I already did. If that does happen I WILL be asking for my money back.

    I just left bad feedback on the customer service survey I got and I think I am going to call again.

  • On the phone with them now. They'll be here Monday. Better than Wednesday. At least I'll just have to slap the labels and stamps on and have them out Tuesday. Not what I wanted still but better than not getting them out until Thursday.
