PG Ladies....

What are you doing for your back pain issues? Mine has been killing me lately, the heating pad isn't helping Sad

Re: PG Ladies....

  • I have been suffering immensely. I am almost in  tears every time I come home from work. I am thinking about getting one of those maternity back supports because someone I work with recommended it. I think I will also go back to my chiropractor. I haven't been since the first tri. I am also thinking of prenatal massages. I feel your pain...I am completely miserable these days and I still have 11 more weeks of work.

  • Try having your H run a tennis ball or a miracle ball where the pain is.

I will have him try it tonight... thanks

Jen, I can't imagine how much pain you must be in with the demands of your job. I clean on Saturdays and Sundays I can barely move.

  • I can't recommend a chiropractor enough!  Dr. C adjusted me the day I went into labor and it made me much more comfortable all day and night.

  • I've been doing chiropractic and massages, and it really helps.  I also take a bath with epsom salt every night.  The tennis ball also helps as a massage tool.  I sit on a yoga ball instead of a regular chair during the day when I can, it takes a lot of pressure off my lower back.

  • With DD, I went to a chiropractor towards the end of my pregnancy due to back pain and sciatica. It helped tremendously! Prenatal massage also helped.

  • Massage and hot baths!! Not sure if the baths are really helping but they feel nice. The massages are definitely worth it. I would try to find a therapist geared towards prenatal or back pain specifically instead of just walking in for a relaxation massage anywhere. You will notice the difference!
  • Not pregnant anymore but I swore by my long baths. You are weightless in the water and it really takes the pressure off your back.
