  • Blue,
Sorry about the no go this month. Hopefully next month will be your month.

I'm in the 2ww right now, and its harder then I thought it would be. I just want to test already(!), but still plan to wait until I actually miss my period (due next Monday/Tuesday). We'll see how that works out... I just need the rest of this week to pass quickly!

wow!! how fantastic would that be?!

  • Oh Morgan, I'm sorry.

I still don't really have any news, but it makes me feel better to participate.  We're making headway on our PCP list.  I know this probably sounds ridic, but I want a flat stomach when I get pregnant so I can actually *look* pregnant.  Anyway- I've lost 4 lbs so far!  Woot!

We're getting the debt paid down (sloooooooowly but surely), and I ordered that one ultimate lesbian conception book.  I gave away my copy of TCYOF, so I need to order that again so I can start charting.  Insemination is still pretty far away, but I'd like to get a handle on the charting way before I really need to, just to avoid wasting time, ya know?

Oh- in other TTC news, I'm giving TCOYF to my FSIL at her Bach- party!  I want them to get pregnant ASAP!

I've rambled enough, anyone have *real* news? ;)

  • Janet!  That's too cool.  GL!

  • I am sorry you didn't get better news this month. It is so hard.

And the 2WW is miserable. I felt like we lived in 2 week blocks of time forever. It got really tiring and old really quick.

     Good luck to everyone else!

  • Morgan, darling, I'm so sorry. It really &*!@*)^ sucks.

I'm not sure what to say for our ttc status. For those of you that don't know, we tried from January-July of this year and are on hold until next summer.

Some days it's easier and others are really crippling. I know Angi wants this and it makes sense to hold off right now, but I'm about out of air trying to justify this break.

I am going to be an aunt. My brother's fiance is pregnant under pretty difficult circumstances. They find out the sex at the 20 week ultrasound November 11th. I offered my soon to be SIL a half dozen pregnancy books I have and she said, "No. Everyone I know that reads those things gets freaked out. Plus I don't read."

I'm all in for the free IVF. J, sign us all up. We'll move to NY.

  • Morgan- bummer about this cycle.   I am dreading the 2ww already and I have not even started yet.

On our front I am waiting to ovulate.  It is day 17 and I usually o on 18 or 19 so we will see.  I hope that I get a positve tomorrow.  We have a baby shower in nh on sat so if I get a positve on friday I will have to go for the iui with out S.  Which would completly suck.  Not only would I like to have her there but we would have to lie about why I am not at the baby shower.  I hate to lie and I also really want to go to the shower so send so good ovulation timing mojo my way if you could.  I will keep you posted as the week progresses.  Hopefully we have some news soon.

  • Mrs Bluemont (sorry, I don't know your name!) -

Those waits after trying are so hard.  We tried for 2 months, took 3 months off (we moved during that time), tried for 4 months, and took 6 months off for a mental health break/financial issues, and then tried 3 months before getting pregnant. The times when we weren't trying felt like spinning our wheels. But I will say, that looking back on it from a different perspective, those breaks were much needed. We had gotten so mired down in the TTC journey and discouraged in living in 2 week blocks of time, that having that time to focus on us, not to stress about the TTC or when I was going to ovulate, was so needed for our sanity.

It would be my suggestion that you take time to nuture yourself and your wife, take trips, sleep in, go out dancing....all the things that are so hard once you have your kids! Smile

    Good luck!

  • Not much news here. I started a "period" of sorts yesterday...on CD 45, with no sign of ovulation prior (according to temps, at least). I get worried about this kind of stuff, but Sylvia is pretty good at diffusing my anxiety about my fertility issues-- she stopped me in the hall yesterday, bent down, and had a chat with my eggs about how they're supposed to come regularly about once a month. It was very sweet.

  • Sorry Morgan. :o(

Things are going okay here. I have been pretty sick the last week or so. This little one doesn't seem to like to letme eat anything. I had my forst OB appointment and it went well. I like the new doc a lot.

Today I scheduled my NT scan for Nov 11th cause Carol is off work that day for the holiday. Hopefully all will look good.

Good luck to everyone in the 2ww.
