2nd dr appt
Everything is looking good! Baby is measuring right on, has a good strong heart beat. Whatever fluid I had going on disappeared so that's good. We got more u/s pictures, and baby actually looks like a baby!
DH was laughing because one shot is head-on (or from behind, hard to tell) and you can see the little arms and legs. He said our baby looks like Marshmallow Man. Lol! We got a good profile shot too, so that one will go in our parent's Christmas cards. Yay baby!

And I can't remember, have you told your parents yet, or is the us pic the announcement? If so, how cool!
as a side note, every time i hear about u/s pics, i think of when a friend was pg, and she sent a u/s pic to my mom, and my mom said "the baby looks like a puppy!" still funny to me.
We're planning to surprise them with the u/s pics. I sort of think baby looks like an alien right now, but it's normal!

Fun! And that's exactly what I thought of Nate at my 8 week u/s. The NP said, "It looks like an angel," and I said, "I was thinking more like an alien..."
Seriously!! All skinny and stuff.

Yeah! So glad it went well.
My second appt isn't until the 23rd...for the risk assessment/etc...I'll be one day shy of 13 weeks...crazy!!!
