UPDATED: I've got the interview in an hour!
HH's cousin just called me and they want me to come in for an interview on my lunch hour! Everyone please send vibes and prayers!
**The interview went good. I'm afraid they're not going to be able to match what I'm making now, but we'll see. She had 2 more people to interview after me, and she's not making a decision until January 1st. They really want someone with optical experience, but they're willing to train. The only thing that worries me is that they said my training for medical transcription would not be needed for this job. That makes me feel like I'm throwing away all the money I'm paying for my training if I take this. Thanks for the prayers and vibes girls, I'll just have to wait and see how everything goes!

You're not throwing money away on your training. You said that you'd eventually like to be able to work from home after kids come along, and the medical transcription certification would prepare you for that.
It's always good to have options, too; you never know what doors that might open.
Just keep praying about it. If God wants you to get/take this job, He'll make that clear and give you a sense of peace about it. He promises to give us wisdom when we ask for it! James 1:5 says "If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking."
