Diaper Help!

Poor Evelyn is soaking through her disposible diapers at night. Is there anyway/thing that works so she is not soaked when she wakes up in the morning? We are sleep training so I am not sure if I should change her when she wakes up in the middle of the night (if she wakes up)? Poor baby has had to take showers with daddy everyday this week!

  • When Eli was in disposables we noticed going up a size (at least at night) seemed to help the leaking.

  • Ditto, ditto.    Nolan pees a lot and it really helped when we went up a size.   We did sleep training at Thanksgiving and he always got a diaper change if he woke up, even if it was only an hour after going to bed.  My little guy has issues with constipation and pooping and sometimes would wake up screaming because he was uncomfortable so I always wanted to be able to rule that out (even though they say no picking up out of the crib).  Honestly, he realized all he was getting out of his efforts was a cold diaper change and he stopped after a couple of days.

  • Huggies Overnights.  They hold much more than regular daytime disposables.  In the last two years I can count on one hand the number of times Helen has overflowed a Huggies Overnight diaper.

The smallest size they come in is size 3 but we used them on Helen while she was still wearing a size 2 in the daytime and they worked fine.  Once she got bigger we put her in the same size as her daytime diapers.  A lot of stores don't carry the size 3 overnights but I was always able to get them at Shaw's.
