There was one gestational sac in my ute, right where it is supposed to be. We could see some yolk sac, but no fetal pole and no heart beat.
My RE is still cautiously optimistic. He said that with IUI, the day I actually O'd could be off by a day or two and that it was still early. I thought today was 5w6d, but it could be only 5w4d or 5w5d and this early a day makes all the difference in the world. He ordered another beta and I should get that result this afternoon, since the lab had not picked up the tests for today yet when I left.
I go back next Thursday for another u/s. So, not the awesomeness that I was hoping for, but not so bad that I cried, and back to waiting.
ETA: Thank you for all the well wishes, T&P and support.

I did; thank you so much for shaing that. It helps the emotional part of me - the logical brain already know that it was too early.

I totally understand, I was a mess for the week between appointments. No matter what anyone says, it's hard not to worry, but hopefully knowing it was just too early will give you some comfort. (((hugs)))
