4 day work week next week, 4 day work week the following week, and then my vacation time starts over.

I can't wait to spend 10 days with my parents! I miss them.
Not exactly looking forward to the 24 hr car ride though.

That is my daycare provider's status update. From 3 minutes ago. Yes, T is at daycare today.
Ugh I want a new provider!
She has a "helper" that watches the kids when she has appointments or vacation days or whatever. But now apparently the helper helps so she can go to the gym. I pay her to be at her house watching my kid. Not a helper.
They live right north of Naples.
In the past we have done both. But most likely we will drive straight through. Roadside hotels creep me out and I end up not being able to sleep anyways. So we take turns, sleeping and driving.
Wow. That is not right. I'd be p!ssed. I think you should say something when you pick T up tonight.
That is so great. I'm really excited for you!
Flying's not an option? There are some inexpensive flights to FL from GRR these days.

nope, not an option for us. I refuse to put Gracie on a plane. Yup we vacation with our dog.
Also the one year that we did fly, it took us 48 hrs to get there (delayed flights, missed connections) and they lost our luggage. After that fiasco I don't think I am ever going to convince the H to get on a plane if the destination is in the continental US.
Ohhh, the pup, I see!
What airline did you fly when all that junk happened?
Was it through Chicago?
DH flies several times a month and has so far always made it home with all his luggage. Delays are inevitable when the weather is bad, though.

Wop, I hear ya on the not wanting to work while on your break thing. That is a pet peeve of mine, too. Physical presence does not always = on duty.
I am annoyed today because XN cannot seem to ever remember to turn on the alarm clocks before going to bed. I ALWAYS have to ask and remind him, every night. Last night, whoops, I forgot and of course they are not on, and this morning he doesn't wake up until 8:25 a.m. Argh. I want to say to him, Come on, you're an adult! You have responsibilities!
He is so good at remembering so many other things that this really shouldn't bother me...but it does.
